You can make a deb package using::
make USE_PGXS=1 deb
this build a debian package one level up from where you build, i.o.w in the
same directory that you have your repmgr/ directory.
Depending on what -dev packages are installed on your build system, you
may need to one or more of the following as well::
sudo apt-get install libxslt1-dev
sudo apt-get install libpam-dev
sudo apt-get install libedit-dev
It is also possible that you miss some others.
